I've made two versions of the recipe so far: one with regular flour only, and the other with a combination of regular and whole wheat flour. Essentially, the choice between those two kinds of flour makes no significant difference in flavor (as the amount used is not that big), but it certainly changes the color and the aroma of the cake: it's darker and more intensely scented. I like both versions equally, and will share both of them here, so you can decide which one do you prefer.
Prepare the following ingredients:
*Note: Instead of 3 Tbsp flour and 3 Tbsp whole wheat flour, you can use 6 Tbsp of one type in total. |

- Beat eggs with a hand mixer until they double their volume. Add sour cream and oil and combine.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour(s), baking powder, and all of the spices. Then, stir them into the eggs mixture.
- At the end, add the vegetables and stir once again until well combined.
