This is what you'll need:

Directions:
- Melt butter in a pot and add onions. Cook over medium fire, stirring often, until half-done. Then add garlic and cook for a couple more seconds.
- Stir in peas, season with some salt and pepper to taste and pour in some water, just enough to cover the vegetables. Cook with the lid on, until peas have softened. At this point, the liquid should be reduced to half.
- Drain the vegetables, but save the liquid. Put vegetables into a blender, or use a hand blender to make a smooth purée by gradually adding some of the liquid they cooked in to get the desired thickness.
- Season the purée with some dried mint to taste, and add some more salt and pepper if necessary.
Serve warm, as a side dish with meat, or as a spread.
