However, we are here to talk and read about recipes, not accidents, right? :)
I wanted to make some savory mini donuts, but to "incorporate" the filling into the batter instead of stuffing the donuts later. So, I made some changes to the basic sweet mini donuts recipe I posted some time ago, added some savory ingredients I got at that moment, and I made two different savory combos which were absolutely fantastic! The first one, which I will share with you now and which I personally liked better, is the one with leeks. The second combination gave me delicious pizza-flavored donuts, and the recipe is coming very soon!
Those leek donuts were simply perfect: the sweetish flavor of leeks and the saltiness of cheese is always an ideal combination, and this time it's wrapped in soft and fluffy bread. Donuts are so succulent and rich, one could barely stop himself from eating them all!
The ingredients given below make approx. 15 mini donuts.

- Beat egg until fluffy. Then add yogurt.
- Combine flour and baking powder, then gradually stir it into the egg mixture to get a smooth batter without lumps.
- Add finely chopped leeks, crushed feta cheese, parsley, and season with some salt and pepper to taste.
Yogurt or sour cream are an excellent complement.
Enjoy and bon appétit!
