The recipe can be easily turned vegan with the right choice of some of the ingredients, which makes it suitable for even wider group of people. Of course, if you are OK with the peanuts!
Interesting enough, this is only the second recipe for dessert with peanuts I have posted so far (after the energy bites), despite the fact that I adore peanuts in any form. I guess I have been busy eating them and forgot to take some photos! If you love peanuts as much as my family does, you can find some very interesting and unusual recipes here.
And here's what you will need for this one:

- Put sugar and water in a pot and heat it over high fire until sugar melts completely. Then, add butter and boil for a few more minutes until it fully melts. Remove from fire.
- Stir in peanuts and biscuits into the hot butter-sugar mixture. You will get a sticky and quite runny "dough".
Cut it into slices or bars at your convenience.
You can also shape it like truffles, if you like. Once you stir in peanuts and biscuits, just wait for a couple of minutes until the mixture cools a bit (until you can handle it with your hands), and shape into balls.
Whatever shape you choose, store the cookies sealed in a plastic box or wrapped in foil to prevent from drying. Also, keep them in a cold place to prevent from melting, since they contain butter.
Those peanuts cookies can stay fresh for up to 10 days. Note that they freeze well, so you can make them way ahead or prolong their "expiration date".
Enjoy and bon appétit!
