I know some of you won't classify those bites under 'healthy food' even though they resemble very much like those crunchy protein bars, but they are definitely worth trying as I'm sure you'll enjoy them!
I made this batch yesterday for an upcoming party at our home, and I was thrilled to see they've become my daughter's favorites right away! I mean, they have cornflakes, sesame, peanuts and chocolate, which are 4 ingredients of her top 5 list of favorite foods, so... no further explanation needed! :)
This time I served the cookies in small paper cups as I needed them to be more buffet-style, but the mixture can also be shaped in some mold and cut into pieces at your convenience.
As I said, this is quite a generous recipe - I got exactly 130 pieces out of those ingredients! As you can imagine, filling all those paper cups wasn't the funniest thing to do, but once I saw how much our guests liked them, all that moments of boringness were forgotten.
And this is what you'll need to make a batch of 100-130 pieces:

And this is how you can make them:
- In a bowl, combine corn flakes, crushed peanuts and sesame seeds. Set aside.
- Put butter, sugar, honey and crushed chocolate into a pot and start heating it over medium fire, stirring occasionally. When everything melts and the mixture becomes homogenized, remove from fire and let it cool for 5-6 minutes.
- Pour the melted butter mixture into the pot with corn flakes and stir well.
You will get a grainy mixture that will look like impossible to bond, but don't worry - it will be perfect once cooled. - Divide the mixture between small paper cups. Those I used were really tiny - 1 full teaspoon each. Stir occasionally to prevent butter mixture from falling down on the bottom.
If you prefer, you can put the mixture into some kind of mold, rectangular, triangular or any kind you have, lightly press it, then take it out once cooled and cut at your convenience. As you can see, they won't stick to the mold and come up easily.
