Using cornflakes when frying chicken is not a new thing, but adding a few more ingredients can make a big difference and bring you so many perfectly combined flavors.
You will need the following:
|
|
- First, prepare the chicken. Slice each piece in two halves horizontally. Alternatively, you can pound it with a mallet to make it a bit thinner. Then, sprinkle each piece with salt and pepper to both sides.
- In a wide plate, combine cornflakes, oat flakes, sesame seeds and raisins.
Put flour in a separate plate.
Beat the eggs. Add a sprinkle of salt. - Now, dip each piece of chicken into the flour. Make sure it's covered with flour from both sides.
Then, run each piece through the egg to coat it lightly and let any excess liquid fall back into the bowl.
In the end, dip each piece into the cornflakes mix. Gently press with your hands, if necessary, so that the mix sticks to the meat.
4. Put some oil into a pan. Make it be nearly 1 cm deep.
Heat it over high fire. You can test it by dipping a wooden spoon - if it sizzles, the oil is hot enough. Put the chicken into the pan, as many pieces as possible at a time, and fry for approximately a minute on each side, or until it starts getting brownish color. |
