Of course, you don't have to use spaghetti exclusively. Any type of pasta would be perfect.
This is what you will need to make this dish, besides the peppers:
- 300 g dried spaghetti
- 4 bell peppers
- 1-2 garlic cloves
- 2 tablespoons minced walnuts
- 2 tablespoons oil
- some cheese (optional)
- to taste salt and pepper
- Roast the peppers on the stovetop until skin has lightly blackened on each side. You can also place them into a pan and bake them into the oven, but the stovetop is the fastest way. Peel them, remove the seeds and mince them.
- Meanwhile, bring some water to boiling, add some salt and cook the spaghetti al dente. Drain and set aside.

3. Heat the oil into a deep pot over medium heat and add minced garlic. Once it starts releasing its distinctive aroma, add minced walnuts and combine. Add the minced peppers right away and cook for a few minutes, until liquid from the peppers vapors. Before the end, add some salt and pepper to taste, and stir in cooked and drained spaghetti. Remove from fire.
