- It's incredibly soft and fluffy, even the next day;

- The seasoning part is easily customizable;
- It can be eaten with any dish.
I made this combination of seasonings to pair the Baked Cheese recipe I posted awhile ago. Back then, I promised to post a recipe for that special bread and I finally did it. Yay! :)
What I want to say is that you can keep the recipe for the dough, as well as for the top coating, and adjust the seasonings to your taste and needs.
So, those are the ingredients needed for ONE piece of flatbread :

2. For the coating, combine the flour and add the seasonings. This time I added oregano and grinded salt which are common for serving with the baked cheese I mentioned before, but you can add any seasoning you like. You can even completely omit the seasonings, if you prefer it that way. Add the water and stir well to get a smooth mixture free of lumps. |
3. Now, we're getting back to the dough. Divide the dough into several parts, as many as you have planned when measuring the ingredients. 4. Sprinkle the work surface with a bit of flour. Roll each piece of dough to nearly 1 cm thickness. Arrange them onto a baking tray lightly sprinkled with flour or covered with parchment paper. |
6. Bake into a preheated oven at 200°C for approximately 10 minutes, or until golden brown on top.
You can serve the bread as a whole, or separate the stripes before serving.
