You will need the following ingredients:
6 tablespoons of sugar :) |

Directions:
- Put 6 Tbsp sugar into a pot and melt it over medium heat until it becomes a caramel color liquid. Be careful not to burn the caramel as it will have a bitter and unpleasant taste.
- Remove from heat and add water. Be careful as it will gurgle a lot. At this point caramel will become hard. Add oil, cocoa powder and the rest of the sugar right after that and put it back to the stove burner. Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, until caramel melts completely and the mixture becomes homogenized liquid.
- Remove from heat and add 20 tablespoons flour. Combine using a hand mixer. Be sure there are no lumps of flour into the mixture. Take some blend, 1/4 teaspoon of it and set aside for a few seconds to cool completely. If it's hard enough to be cut clearly, it's ok and you can proceed to step 4. But if it's stretchy and soft, you need to add some more flour. Add a spoonful at a time and mix with a hand mixer. You may need to add 2-3 Tbs, not more. It is important that you add the flour right after you remove the liquid from heat so it can blend in well, as well as to add the additional flour as soon as possible, as the mixture cools fast and it won't be homogenized if you add flour too late, when it's cold.
- Once you have made the right density of the mixture, pour it into a lightly greased mould (any rectangular would do), smooth it out and set aside for about half an hour to cool. When it's lukewarm, cut it into pieces and set aside to cool completely.
Notes:
- I've made this candies both in loaf pan and in praline moulds and I was happy with both results. Loaf pan is much easier and more practical, but praline moulds give much more decorative candies. The only problem with praline moulds, if one could call it so, is that you have to work really fast - the mixture cools fast and becomes hard, so it won't be easy to fill in the moulds and get smooth candies.
- You can add some chopped nuts into the candies. Add the nuts right before you add the flour.
- You can decorate the candies with some melted chocolate and/or colorful crumbs or chopped nuts.
Here is how my fair candies looked like when I made them in praline moulds some time ago:
