Here's the complete list of ingredients you'll need in case you decide to prepare this soup the way the original recipe says:
- 400 g carrots
- 1 medium-sized onion
- 1-2 hot peppers
- 2 garlic cloves
- 700 ml vegetable broth
- 200 ml cooking cream
- 100 g sour cream
- to taste salt and pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 3-4 tablespoons oil
Directions:
- Put oil into a pot and add chopped onion. Cook it until soft and translucent, stirring occasionally.
- Add diced peppers and cook for a few more minutes, until soft.

3. Add grated carrots and whole garlic cloves. Cook for a minute or two and pour in the broth. Cook until carrots become soft.
4. Add sugar, cooking and sour cream and combine until homogenized. Bring it to a boil and remove from fire. 5. Put the vegetables and the liquid into a blender or a food processor and mix it. Make sure there are no pieces of vegetables left. |
Serve warm with some toasted bread, if desired. You can also sprinkle each serving plate with some cooking cream.
