And here's what you need:

- Peel potatoes and cut cut them into few pieces. Put in a pot, add 1/2 teaspoon of salt and a whole garlic clove (if using any), and cover with 1 liter of water. Cook with the lid on until they are soft and tender.
- When potatoes are done, add broccoli florets, cover the pot and turn the heat off. Let the vegetables sit on the stove for approx. 2 minutes.
- Now, remove a few broccoli florets if you want to keep them wholes and have different textures in the soup. Also, keep the water they cooked in.
Put the vegetables in a blender altogether with a cup of the water they cooked in and turn them into mush.
Doctor the flavor with some pepper and some more salt. Also, throw in the whole broccoli florets you have set aside before putting the vegetables in the blender.
You can sprinkle and decorate each serving with a bit of cooking cream, or put a scoop of sour cream inside each plate. Sour cream will make this combination fresh and even creamier.
