It's been quite a while since I last posted a recipe for some classic "ordinary" bread, so here it is now - a classic leavened wheat bread!

My newest post about the Greek Salad inspired me to write another recipe from this Mediterranean country's cuisine. I chose this fantastic filo pie with figs, which swept me off my feet with the first bite! It was so soft, rich and highly flavored, that one could barely resist it...
What's known in Greece as Horiatiki Salata (Peasant Salad), the rest of the world calls it a Greek Salad... :) A delicious, refreshing vegetable salad, enriched with cheese, olives and spices, served as an appetizer or a side dish, closely connected to the Shopska posted some time ago... And here's the recipe! :)
Delightful, splashy stew made of 12 kinds of vegetables! Yes, you've read it right: nothing less but 12 kinds! Though aromatic enough with all those veggies, the stew is also enriched with several spices that make it a real enjoyment for all your senses.
Wondering what's that? Well, it's an unusual, appetizing, mouthwatering, rich mashed potato fare that can be served both as a side or as a main dish. It's quite far from the classic mashed potatoes: their only common ingredient are potatoes, and the preparation is well different... But they're both creamy... And this one is so heavenly delicious, believe it or not! :)
