- Slice the leeks. Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces. Note that you can use some leftover chicken for this recipe.
As for the rice, I prefer the round one for this meal, but any kind will do just fine. - Put oil and butter into a deep pan and heat it over medium fire. Add the leeks and cook for 4-5 minutes, stirring often, until it's almost done.
- Add the chicken and cook for a couple more minutes, until meat gets a thin crust.
If it is necessary, add some more water or broth during cooking. When done, there should be almost no liquid left.
