And today, it's a Guacamole Day! Yep... Today, I'm sharing with you a recipe for nice, irresistible, fresh, homemade guacamole. This dip originating from Mexico, beloved and popular internationally, is believed to be invented by the Aztecs, and the word guacamole, meaning avocado sauce, is coming from the Aztec dialect Nahuati. It's a super easy recipe ready in 10-15 minutes, ideal for breakfast, as a snack dip or sandwich spread. It is made from only a couple of ingredients, but it has a great nutritional value, which makes it a very popular meal in vegan diet. And this is what you need to make guacamole:

**You can use a small piece of bell pepper or way pepper if you don't like eating hot food.
- Finely chop onion, garlic, and pepper. You can even mash them with a pestle afterward, to get even smoother dip. Dice the tomatoes.
- Scoop the avocado flesh and smash it with a fork. Add the vegetables and combine.
- Now, add chopped fresh coriander, olive oil and some salt and lime juice to taste and stir well.
Lime juice is added, among else, to prevent the avocado from browning and to add up to the freshness. However, if you don't like a sourish taste, and if you know you will eat the whole guacamole right away, you can leave out the lime juice.
Guacamole is normally served immediately after it's made, but if you need to store it for later or you have some leftovers, put the dip in a plastic box or a jar, cover it with onion slices and seal the box. Keep it in the fridge.
