Couple of years ago when we had some party at our home, I decided to make this unusual cookies along with few other kinds in order to impress and to confuse a bit our guests, and I hit the bull's-eye! Everyone was astonished and kidding that I've mixed up some real boiled eggs within the cookies :D And when they tasted them, everyone was overjoyed, so I sincerely recommend this recipe. It won't take you a lot of time to prepare them. Even your kids can take a part in preparing those super decorative cookies that are just melting in your mouth...

Directions:
1. Mix together the corn starch with 200 ml milk until smooth.
2. Put the sugar and rest of the milk in a pot and bring to a boil over low heat. Then add the corn starch mixture and cook mixing constantly until you get a nice and thick cream. Remove from heat, add the butter and mix well until butter fully melts. Than add the coconut flakes, mix again and allow to cool completely.
3. Divide the mixture into two parts - 1/3 and 2/3. Add the yellow food coloring into the 1/3 part and mix well. Add as much coloring as you want the "egg yolks" to be yellow. Make about 20 balls from the yellow mixture.
4. Divide the 2/3 part into 20 balls. Take it one by one and flatten it between your palms. Put a yellow ball a little lower than the middle and wrap it with the white mixture. Shape an egg. Roll it in coconut flakes. Repeat the process with the rest of the yellow and white balls.
Take a look at the pictures below so you can get a clearer view how to form the cookies.
Bon appétit!
